Mission Requests
Heya Everyone!
I hope everyone had a great time at our Mini Bible Camp. I would like the following officers to do which ever one has your name on it. Here's the list:
1. Create a little survey about our first activity. Write all the comments and answers; hand in a complete summary of the survey. The survey itself can be on the phone, msn, or hardcopy.(Peachy and Jordan)
2. Obtain suggestions from each member to improve future fellowships and activities. (Aveline)
3. Hand in a full review/summary of the above missions. The report can be emailed, or hardcopy. (Mark)
Here's the deal. Peachy will do the calling and asking, then Peachy will hand in the results to Jordan, who will hand in the complete summary to Mark. Lastly, to be handed in to me later on. Same goes for Aveline's report.
Q: What are we going to ask?!
A: Simple questions like.... "Did you learn something from the sessions?", "Do you think there were too much free times?" etc.
My purpose for this is to hear your personal thoughts about our activities so we can improve them in the future. And also, this will serve as a passive voice towards the report I am going to hand in for the Christian Education.
You guys can do it! ;D
Expected Due Date: April 6, 2008

Blog Orientation
Greetings parents and members!
This post will explain the stuff that makes this blog "hi-tech". I didn't have sufficient time to explain in during the meeting... :/
Anyways, here we go...
The blog contains various parts and sections; each contributing for presentation and documentation.
1. Introductory and Title Section (Heading)
This section contains the group's name, and a short introductory statement, which summarizes our motives and goals.
2. Body Section
This section is where all the blog posts go in. The posts are arranged from the "lastest" post down to older posts. (Ain't it FINE?! ;D)
3. Author's Section
This is where the names of our members are listed. These names are specific links to their profile. (I specifically told them NOT to put any "personal" information in their profile, its for security purposes)
4. Reminder Section (Powered by 30boxes.com)
This contains important dates for our members. For example, birthdays, upcoming events, etc.
Special thanks to 30boxes! =D
5. Resource Area
This contains a list of different links that could be fairly useful for the group's activities/research.
Special thanks to the websites I linked! ;D
6. Blog Archive
This organizes the different posts according to the month a certain post has been posted.
7. Labels Section
This is an even better organizer! For instance, you were looking for a post... the labels section can help you out because each post is tagged with a specific "topic" such as "suggestions". (Again, I strongly advice all members to TAG their posts! >=D)
8. Chatbox (Powered by Shoutmix)
This is like a built-in MSN in our blog, except you have to refresh each time you talk if you want to see what the other person said... -_-. Anyone can use this feature to chat. (assuming your msn is not working ;D) This seems a very good and private feature... sadly, its not. The chatbox is probably contains the most potential danger in the blog. Dangers, meaning, spammers, evil people who links bad stuff on text, etc. This doesn't mean you dont wanna use the chatbox. As a group coordinator, I watch this blog as often as possible. Any spam or bad links can easily be removed.
9. Song of the Day (Powered by imeem.com)
This is one of my favourites. This basically gives life to the blog by playing some worship songs while you surf around. The songs are changed every 24 hours (starting at 7pm). You can turn it off by clicking "pause" in the section. Special thanks to those who uploaded the songs to Imeem!! =D
10. Visits Section (Powered by ClusterMaps)
This tracks anyone who visits this blog. Don't worry, it just "tracks", not "hacks". This is a potential "bragging section" by showing visitors how much people visited/viewed your blog. Basically, Manitoba has the most visits. (You know why... ;D)
11. Copyright Section (Bottom; Powered by Creative Commons)
Finally, the copyright section. This is the most serious part of the blog. Our blog is basically "copyrighted". Meaning, whatever we post is "OURS". Anyone who attemps to copy our stuff will cause a major offense. (believe me... its not gonna be nice =D) Special thanks to the "Creative Commons Attribution of Canada License"
That's all I have to share with you guys about the blog. You have any questions, ask away! ;D

FROG's Pre-KickOff
Ahoy everyone! Now that we have completed our "tell yo folks" phase. We're are now ready to present these ideas to the Christian Education. After that, we have to inform Pastor about everything as well. That's where our handy-dandy blog kicks in. As soon as everyone else is informed, and they have approved our future actions. It's time to RIDE! =D

Blogging Part 2
Watup? I just wanna remind everyone ab0ut posting.
DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT post the "last" name of a member/person. Remember guys, this is a "public" blog. Anyone, and I mean "anyone" can view this. Posting your last name is not very safe. Its for privacy and security purposes.
And furthermore, I would strongly suggest you guys make sure your profile is BLANK, except your display name and some other stuff that is required for your account.
Thanks y'all! ;D
P.S. I already edited your posts, dun worry about it. ;D

T-shirts anyone?
Hi guys! I just had an awesome idea... Would you guys prefer T-shirts? Yeah, you heard me... Customized with our logo (we'll have one... eventually...) and at the back, there will be a text saying your position/job in the group? (eg. Jr. Leader, Journalist, Member, etc. )
Comment on it in this post... I think its a good idea.. and its gonna be REALLY cheap. If you all agree, I'll discuss the details in another post.
Cheers,
Jib =D

Tagging
Heya everyone! I would just like to ask you guys to "tag" or "label" your posts so our blog is organized and stuff will be easy to find. This would work very well when our blog posts exceeds 200. o.o
Anyhow, you can use these labels on your work... The label part is right on the bottom left of your text box. You won't miss it. xP
1. Suggestion
2. Report
3. Activity
4. Meeting
5. Shoutout
Fairly straight forward aight? Thanks guys! ;D
NB: Some other labels may be used. (eg. Worship, Survey, etc.)
